City Lake Park is located in the city of High Point, North Carolina. During public holidays such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, City Lake Park is open seven days a week but closed on the other days.

Rental boats must be removed from the water one hour before the marina closes. Private boats must be removed from the water 30 minutes before the marina closes. For rent, you can try your hand at canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddleboarding. Additionally, pontoon boat tours with a maximum capacity of 30 passengers are provided.

High Point City Lake Park Marina charges $2 per day for individuals aged 16 to 54, $1 per day for adolescents (12-15) and seniors (55+), and no fee for children under the age of 12. Bank fishing is permitted at the marina for a fee of $1 per day for minors (12-15).

City Lake Park offers a carousel, picnic shelters, concession stand(s), picnic tables, an excursion boat, a playground, a grill, restrooms, a gymnasium, a railway, and a miniature golf course, among other amenities.

If you have the right permissions and licenses, you can go bank fishing or boat fishing. Private boats with motors less than 9.9 horsepower are permitted to launch from the Marina ramp. Year-round, boat rentals are available for anglers to use. Kayaks, stand up paddleboards, pedal boats, and canoes are available for rent on a seasonal basis. Rentals are no longer available for the season of 2021. These will be available once more starting in the spring of 2022.

There are a total of ten picnic shelters available for rent, with seating capacities varying from 40 to 600 individuals. Shelter rates vary depending on the size of the shelter and the length of time it is rented. Reservations are strongly advised. Various Rental Possibilities There are free standing picnic tables and grills located in the main part of the park available on a first come basis.

Construction on phase one of the High Point City Lake Park Master Plan began on June 1, 2021, and is expected to be completed by 2025. A bond referendum was held in November 2019 and the residents of the United States voted to support this project.

Phase one includes: An exciting renovation of the pool area – adding a lazy river, play features and new slide, replacing outdated mechanical systems, as well as remodeling locker rooms and the concessions area, Improved accessibility by adding more handicapped parking, widening sidewalks and improving the entryway into the pool, Reconstructing the old gymnasium into a meeting center and offices and Realigning the Great Lawn and stage area.
